Brea maintains parks and recreation facilities within its boundaries providing varied leisure needs to the community. The Brea Community Services Department coordinates park activities.

Features: Play areas, barbecues, picnic tables, restrooms, ball diamond, soccer fields, volleyball court, amphitheater, concession stand, football field and basketball courts.
- Birch Hills Golf Course

- Brea Creek Municipal Golf Course (25.82 acres)

Features: A popular nine-hole community golf course, complete with driving range. Rental electric and hand carts and clubs are available. Reservations for the course can be made up to one week in advance. Course hours are daily, from 6 a.m. to sunset.

Features: Play areas, ball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis courts, volleyball, concession stand, football field and basketball courts.
- Brea Sports Park (20 acres)

Features: Ball fields, walking trail, children's play area and picnic area. Field use is prioritized for Brea-based organizations through arrangements with the Community Services Department.

- Founder's Park

- Greenbriar Park (3.5 acres)

- Lagos de Moreno Park -southeast corner of Birch and Flower Streets Features: children's playground and open lawn area

- Wildcatters Dog Park

Features: Separate areas for small dogs (less than 25 pounds) and large dogs (over 25 pounds), benches, drinking fountains with attached dog bowls, picnic tables, double-entry gates, grass turf, dog waste cleanup stations (The City is not providing clean-up bags at this time.)
- Wildcatters Park (16 acres)

Features:Baseball field overlapping football/soccer field, basketball court, children’s playground with shade structures and ADA swings and accessibility, various passive areas with picnic shelters, barbecues and turf, and a .6 mile perimeter walking trail, two restroom locations, concession stand, parking available in two parking lots with additional parking on Santa Fe Road
